Fuck Yeah, Pocahontas!

I am proud to say that I officially have the complete 1995-1999 Pocahontas Mattel Collection. It took me exactly 2 years to complete it!
It has been a personal goal since I was a young kid to have at least one of these beauties. And when I turned 18 I made that dream come true. It may sound silly, but I did not want my parents to think that they did the right thing denying their son a doll when he was a kid. Collecting dolls has opened my eyes to redefine what gender means. It’s a social construct, basically. It has taught me that children should not have to be brainwashed at such a young age. When I am blessed with children, they will grow up in a household where they can be comfortable enough to live the life they want to live.
Anyways I may have gone a bit off tangent haha. Time to finish my research paper.

Menu shots from the Pocahontas standalone Blu-Ray Release

These are shots from the standalone Pocahontas Blu-Ray as released in Russia. Australia saw a “Double Feature” Blu-Ray with for some reasons, a non-canon DTV sequel included. My country will have the standalone Blu on May 30. There is no word yet on an American standalone release.
